Forest school has had a Rifle Corps for 140 years. Today the CCF partners with the MOD to provide opportunities for Cadets to gain training in either the Army or RAF sections. Such training gives pupils an edge in competing for places in employment and higher education as they progress through a syllabus that gives them the opportunity to develop teamwork, resilience and leadership.
As part of the CCF, pupils also experience residential camps, manoeuvres, adventurous training, as well as flying opportunities, the option to join the Drum Corps, and build vertical friendships that last them for life.
