Day Visits

Educational Visits and trips are an essential part of a Forest Prep Education, taking pupils that extra mile to see and experience the breadth of offering in London and wider afield.  Visits can support specific learning, can set a class on the path to new discoveries and can just be a great deal of fun. From the Centre of the Cell, to the Greenwich Pantomime, Educational Visits add yet more colour to a colourful education and bring the promise of the excitement of more to come.

Residential Trips

We also give pupils the chance to go on residential trips where children are prepared for later life by staying away from home with their peers overnight. Pupils develop their learning through meaningful educational experiences. In the Preparatory School recent residential trips have included stays at Magdalen Farm (Year 4), Hooke Court (Year 5) and in Berlin (Year 6). In addition, for those children who are interested, there is a Prep School Ski Trip every year in the Easter holidays, led by members of Prep School staff.

Clubs and Activities

We offer an enormous selection of clubs and activities at Forest School and children from Reception to Year 6 can sign up to a variety of clubs during the year. These take place before School, at lunchtimes and at the end of the school day.  Whether it is dodge ball or dominoes, chess or cooking, there are opportunities to explore interests, discover new ones and even debate your way out a corner. We encourage pupils to take on a wide variety of clubs through their Prep School career and there is plenty of advice and assistance available to make sure this happens. Never an excuse to be bored!
