Warhammer 40K Tournament
On Saturday the 6th October teams from Forest, City of London Boys and The Elmgreen School brought hordes, warbands, companies, and chapters to City of London for the inaugural “Inter School Friendly” Warhammer 40K tournament, which, as can be seen, took place in spectacular surroundings.
In “The Grim Darkness of the Far Future” our lads acquitted themselves well, with even absolute beginners who had borrowed Orks from Mr Black clocking up at least one win. City of London clocked up the most wins, although this was unsurprising, as most of their players were sixth formers (who were completely delightful when playing our youngsters) but the main thing was that it was a grand day out with everyone sharing a much-loved hobby – a fantastic use of a rainy Saturday.
We are now contemplating dates and venues for next term – the saga will continue!
