House Drama 2025 – The Results Are In!

House Drama has always been a highlight of the school calendar and this year’s competition was no exception. For the first time in Forest School history, houses were paired together in twinned teams, bringing a new level of collaboration and creativity to the stage. After a huge amount of dedication and hard work, we are delighted to announce that Astell & Johnians have been crowned winners for their outstanding production of Yerma.

The final took place in front of an enthusiastic audience and our esteemed guest judge, Sarah Camlett, a leading talent agent at Independent Talent Group. Sarah represents both emerging and established actors, including one of our own Old Foresters, as well as high-profile names such as David Tennant, Nina Wadia, and Jacob Anderson.

The competition was fierce, with every house putting forward an exceptional production. House Drama is not just about the final performance but the journey each team takes – from script selection to rehearsals, set design and teamwork. This year’s standard was incredibly high and every student involved should be immensely proud of what they have achieved.

House events have always been a core part of life at Forest School, fostering creativity, teamwork and a sense of community. House Drama, in particular, is a chance for students to showcase their theatrical talents, whether on stage or behind the scenes.

As we celebrate this year’s success, we now look forward to Lower School House Drama, which will take place in Trinity Term. We look forward to seeing the next generation of performers and directors bring their productions to life.

Congratulations to all involved – this year’s House Drama will certainly be remembered as one of the best yet.
