Reception’s Easter bonnet parade

Ahead of the Easter break, Reception’s annual Easter bonnet parade took place in the Pre-Preparatory playground.

Each year the two classes, Rabbits and Squirrels, are set homework to design and create an Easter bonnet for the parade. This year was no exception and once again the standard of the bonnets was high.

This year’s theme was Easter and bonnets included bunny ears and nests of eggs.

Reception class teacher, Mrs Anna Manlangit said: ‘It was fantastic to see all the pupils’ bonnets and it was clear that they had all made a tremendous effort with their homework task.

‘The two Reception classes had a great time in the parade and it was a perfect way to end a busy term before the Easter break. The pupils all left feeling very excited to wear their bonnets over Easter.’

Master-in-charge of the Pre-Prep Mr Paul Faulkner added: ‘Once again the Easter bonnet parade was brilliant, and it was wonderful to see all the pupils enjoy themselves.’
