Open Day 2018

On Saturday Forest School once again threw open the White Gates and welcomed more than 800 families who were interested in finding out more about the school.

There was a full programme of events for visitors to enjoy including performances by the Soul Band and the Senior Chapel Choir, along with a packed schedule of sporting events including an U11 football tournament, a swimming exhibition and cricket masterclasses with Essex County cricketer James Foster.  There were also interactive demonstrations in the science labs, drumming and manoeuvres from the CCF, and a BBQ hosted by our Duke of Edinburgh’s award team.

Visitors were undeterred by the weather and there was a fantastic atmosphere around school – thanks to all those who made it such a memorable day.
