New joiners get a taste of Forest life with a Coding Challenge

This weekend Forest School hosted an online Coding Challenge open to pupils registered to join the school in Y7 in September 2021 as an optional introduction to all the opportunities they will be able to explore at Forest.

More than 40 pupils participated in the activity which was Dance Party-themed.  The activity was led by our Head of Computing Mr Lindsey who created a 15 minute how-to video for pupils to watch before diving in and creating their own response to the challenge.  We have very much enjoyed seeing all of their creative responses to the brief.

Thank you for sending my parents the task. I really enjoyed doing it. The good thing about the links is that they included the music and different types of commands which could be used. It was fun!
