Introducing the new Pupil Leadership Team…..

You notice that three prefects haven’t turned up for their duties….What do you do?

You and your team are in charge of a rather noisy and restless group of year 10 students on Open Day….What do you do?

What are your thoughts on leadership?

Not really sure? Well, our new head boy/girl and deputy head boys/girls do!  Over 100 students applied to take the prestigious position of head boy/girl and deputies.

The rigorous process started in March, when the online applications started coming in.  The applications were then shortlisted to 7 boys and 7 girls, a poll then took place followed by panel interviews.  The candidates were also interviewed whilst lunching with the leadership team.  Just over a month later the results were announced.

The head boy/girl and deputies have been awarded a role of responsibility and trust.  They will manage the team of prefects, undertake ambassadorial duties, be aspiring role models, represent the voice of the students and much more.

The crowns and gowns have been handed over in a bid to allow the Head boy/girls and deputies of 2018-2019 to focus on their exams.
