House MasterChef Finals

Last night the House MasterChef finals took place. This year the challenge was pie making!

A fantastic array of beautiful pies were submitted from pretty spiced apple and ‘Cherry Christmas’ pies to sumptuous banoffee pies to impressively peaked lemon meringue pies.

All 14 houses had initial pie-making rounds and the winner from each house was selected for entry into the finals.

A panel of 7 judges took part in the Cov-id compliant tasting sessions and the winners are as follows:

Zac from Millers’ House – First

Jonathan from Copeland’s House – Second

Ben from Bishops’ House – Third

Clementine from Astell House – First

Erica from Baylis House – Second

Charly from Franklin House – Third

Well done everyone. After a whopping 14 pies to taste we wonder if anyone can spot the judges around school today – ‘Who ate all the pies?’
