House Film Making Competition

Forest pupils compete in the first ever House Film Making event.

This year, for obvious reasons, House Drama at Forest had to be re-imagined. And so House Film Making was born! The film entries were to be made using Stop Motion animation techniques. Our pupils rose to the challenge, working remotely and in-person to create these well-crafted short animated films.

The results were announced last night Live on YouTube and they are:

1st – Miller’s and Kingsley

2nd – Bishop’s and Franklin

3rd – Johnians and Baylis

Most creative animation – Bishop’s and Kingsley

Best use of stop motion – Johnians and Kingsley

Best director – Tom Lister – Miller’s, Meigan Teo – Kingsley

Best script writer – Finn Coleman – Doctor’s, Meigan Teo, Linnéa Cramer, and Lauren Andrews – Kingsley

Best actor – Tom Lister and Zach Asprey – Miller’s, Charlotte O’Keeffe – Franklin

Best editing – Miller’s and Franklin

Best short form drama – Bishop’s and Kingsley

Most collaborative team – Miller’s and Eliot

With special thanks to everyone who helped make this very unusual House Drama possible.
