Gould Prize

Congratulations go to our Year 13 pupil Rosa Appignanesi whose entry to the Trinity College Cambridge Gould Prize in English Literature has been highly commended.

Candidates are invited each year to submit an essay of between 1,500-2,500 words on a topic to be chosen from the list of questions.  Trinity College described Rosa’s entry as a piece of work “displaying both judicious critical insight and stylistic flair.  It was a great pleasure to read, and she has been invited to visit Trinity College with other commended students on 29th September.”
