On the 19th of March 2018, Old Foresters Ben Rodericks, Rebecca Bury, Isabella Zeff, Molly Buckmaster, Matthew Storrs & Shamar Gunning attended the Gold Award presentation at St James Palace.

They were presented their awards by adventurer Jamie Ramsay in the presence of HRH Prince Edward Earl of Wessex. The students regaled the HRH with tales of derring-do when being chased by cows in the Brecon Beacons much to his amusement. It was made a greater pleasure as Deputy Warden Grove du Toit was present as a visiting VIP whilst DofE Manager Jacques Moore-Hurley was present as a marshal for the event, meaning we were lucky enough to share in this special day.

Our warmest congratulations are passed to the Old Foresters for their achievements and wish them well for the future.
