Year 9 surface their SCUBA Skills

Rhia Quinlivan and Holly Gibson (Ocean Diver qualified) have recently become the first pupils to complete their rescue skills for the Sport Diver qualification.

The girls had to demonstrate the ability to bring an unconsicious casulty from a depth of 6 metres to the surface, two them to shore and administer apporpriate first aid.

Congratulations to Rhia and Holly; and all done in water temperatures of 9 degrees – enough to take your breath away!
