Year 2 pupils visit the London Transport Museum

The visit came as part of the Prep School topic comparing transport in London and Peru.

The visit started with pupils looking at how trains and buses in the capital have changed over time, and the pupils were also able to sit in some of Transport for London’s oldest vehicles.

Forest pupil Adam said “I like the old-fashioned underground trains” while, Eve added “It was great fun going on top of the double decker buses”.

The museum explores the story of London’s transport system over the last 200 years, highlighting the history of how people move around the city and the growth of modern London.
