Sunday cycle raises substantial sums for charity

Aadam and Uzair Sheikh (Y9/Y6) put their love of cycling to great use last month and organised
a Forest Sponsored Cycle to raise money for the charity ‘Orphans in Need’.

The boys were joined by fellow forest pupils and parents at Redbridge Cycling Centre to cycle
as many laps as they could around a one-kilometre track in an hour.
All 42 participants cycled approximately 750km overall and raised a superb total of £6088 for Orphans in Need.
This amount of money will sustain the lives of two orphans for the next eight years.

Well done Aadam and Uzair for a truly inspirational charitable and physical effort!
Well done to all those that took part – a steep challenge in more ways than one!
