Sixth Form’s Viva interviews

All 150 students were put through a rigorous interview process by senior members of staff, including the Warden and Deputy Warden. During the interviews, the students were asked to reflect on the personal progress they have made since joining the Sixth Form last September.

The questions asked were designed to stretch and challenge interviewees, encouraging them to candidly discuss their personal triumphs and failures, areas of strength and of improvement across a wide range of activities and competencies.

Self-evaluation is a fantastic tool for personal development, and the process also gave fantastically valuable interview practice – especially significant as minds gradually turn towards the imminent UCAS process.

Forest Diploma Coordinator, Mr Burnside, said: “It was an uplifting experience to realise just what an active, motivated and self-aware group of fantastic students we have.”
