Non-uniform day raises over £2,000 for charity
On Tuesday 23 March, Forest pupils had the opportunity to come to School in their own clothes in order to raise money for worthy causes.
Senior School boys raised over £850, which will go towards their chosen charity, Haven House Children’s Hospice. The money raised will be added to the boys’ other charitable activities and will be added up at the end of the year. Last year the boys raised over £12,000, which paid for three days of care at the Hospice.
Meanwhile, Senior School girls raised over £1,100, which will be split between their nominated charities: Chigwell Riding Trust, Pattaya Orphanage, Plan International, Water Aid and Breast Cancer Awareness.
Head of Boys’ School, Mr Kanye and Head of Girls’ School, Mrs Venditti both praised the pupils’ efforts and continued dedication to their chosen charities.
