Forest staff past and present watch former pupil Paapa Essiedu in Hamlet
Paapa, who was a pupil at Forest from 1997 to 2008 (Johnians) has won critical acclaim for his portrayal of Hamlet.
Paapa joined the group, which included some of his old teachers, in between performances where he reminisced about his School days and his acting experiences whilst at Forest.
He confessed that he was less nervous about taking to the stage as Hamlet than he was about meeting up with some of his former teachers!
Hamlet runs at The RSC until 13 August, at which point Paapa will take up the role of Edmund in King Lear from 20 August until 15 October.
