Forest Hedgehogs and Owls visit the archive

The two classes, Hedgehogs and Owls, visited the archive to mark the start of their neighbourhood topic.

During the visit, the pupils learned about when the School was founded and were shown old photographs of how buildings once looked. The pupils also got to try on past uniforms.

Year 1 teacher, Miss Hopkin, said: The pupils really enjoyed their visit to the archives and it was a great start to their new topic. A highlight of the visit was seeing pupils try on old uniforms.”

Director of Development, Mrs Coates, added: “We enjoyed welcoming the Hedgehogs and Owls, teaching them about the history of their own school. Our pupils regularly visit the archive to learn and research about the School.”
