Forest pupils join Tim Peake for a lesson from space

Forest pupils joined astronaut Tim Peake for a lesson from space on Tuesday 2 February. The Cosmic Classroom brought together over 300 schools from across the country for a live Q&A from the International Space Station.

Excited Preparatory School pupils took part in the live lesson joining in with activities which included standing up and touching your toes, a feat then repeated by the British spaceman to demonstrate what living in space is like.

During the lesson, Tim also explained what happens to your heart in space, and living without gravity on the International Space Station.

Pupils at Forest have been following Tim’s journey since joining his take-off, 49 days ago, on December 3.
