Forest celebrates Oxbridge applicants

Forest is celebrating after another successful year for Oxbridge applicants.

This year, six pupils have recieved offers to study at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford.

Those holding offers from Cambridge are: Hannah Webb, who is looking to study English, Molly Sayer, Mathematics, Dean Lundie, Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, Charlotte Connal, Music, Lorcan Canavan, History and Jessica Kayode-Newman (OF) for Geography. Meanwhile, Katie Inch is holding an offer for History at Oxford.

The Forest Oxbridge offers form part of yet another successful year of university applications. This year, 156 students have applied for university places through UCAS with pupils holding holders to a variety of subjects at some of the UK’s top universities.

Pupils will be looking to follow on from last year’s excellent A Level results, where 79% of all grades awarded to Forest pupils were A*, A or B with 52% A* and A.
