DT Primary Project
On Wednesday the 14th March Forest DT Department hosted a primary partnerships meeting to roll out a DT project for year 5’s.
The DT department has planned and created a short unit of work with all the resources so that we can support non-specialists to teach DT.
The teachers came and enjoyed an hour long practical session learning how to teach a design and make unit. The project was to make a balloon powered car, and at the end they even had races to see who had made the fastest vehicle. Forest gave all the schools enough resources to teach their year 5’s as part of our Outreach initiative.
Thanks need to go to Luke Barker and his team for running such a successful event.
