11+ Entry

Approximately 120 places are available for external boys and girls in September each year, to join our pupils from the Preparatory School to form eight classes in Year 7. Our aim is to create an inclusive, diverse and collaborative learning environment. Candidates should have reached the age of 11 before 1 September in the year of entry.

Registering your child

For September 2026 entry, parents are required to complete the online Senior School Registration form by midday on Wednesday 12 November 2025 and submit a non-refundable registration fee of £180 (overseas registration are £240). Parents are advised to read through the relevant guidelines below and visit the school before applying.

Examination Assessment Test

The 11+ entrance test will take the form of digital and written tests. Part one will be a digital test, one hour and ten minutes in length and includes; Mathematics, English, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Puzzles and Problem Solving. Part two is a paper-based assessment of written English. Candidates will have thirty minutes for this section.
