Settling into Secondary School

Monday 25th February 2019 6.00-7.00pm in the Deaton Theatre

This event is for pupils and their parents approaching the transition from Primary to Secondary school and aims to deliver insights valuable to any parent or pupil preparing for this important next step.

Our guest speaker Laverne Antrobus will be sharing her expertise on some of the challenges that both pupils and their parents will face, giving advice on how parents can support their children to become resilient, independent young people and offering top tips on common issues around autonomy, privacy and technology.  There will also be a panel of Forest School pupils and staff who will share their experiences and answer questions.  Please come and join us for what promises to be a thought provoking evening.
