Forest Network Gathering

This  year’s annual Forest Network gathering will be at Forest School in the Martin Centre for Innovation on Monday 16 October 2017 at 6.30 for 7.00pm. There will be a welcome drink and light refreshments and the evening will close at 9.00pm.

Dr Erinma Ochu MBE (Park 1984-1991), Lecturer in Science Communication and Future Media at Salford University in The School of Environment & Life Sciences is our headline speaker. Erinma is a pioneer in communicating science, combining creative participatory approaches, technology, the arts and humanities, to raise consciousness of social and environmental challenges. Trained originally as a neuroscientist at The University of Manchester with Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell, Erinma went on to work in science TV and Film, before working as a creative consultant on primary, secondary and higher education social change initiatives.
