Choral and Orchestral Concert

Our Choral and Orchestral Concert takes place on Wednesday 20th March at 7pm in the Sports Hall.

The Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Senior Chapel Choir, Boys’ and Girls’ Chapel Choirs, and Choral Society will all be performing.  The concert will be the culmination of a huge amount of hard work by the pupils and will feature some truly inspiring music.  From the beautiful elegance of Haydn’s Symphony No. 104 ‘The London’ 1stmovement and Mozart’s Divertimento in F to the wonderful choral sonorities of songs by Rutter, Whitacre and showstoppers from The Greatest Showman, this concert is sure to be an evening of wonderful entertainment.  The concert will finish with a performance of the iconic Bach Magnificat in D, complete with vocal solos taken by Forest students, our singing teachers Helen Meyerhoff (Head of Singing at Forest – Soprano) and Tom McVeigh (Bass), and guests William Towers (Countertenor) and Mark Chaundy (Tenor).
