11+ Information Morning

9 November 2024

Saturday 9 November 2024, 8.30am – 11.00am

You may already have attended our Open Morning in September but wish to learn more about the admissions process for entry at 11+ and life in Year 7. Equally, the 11+ Information Morning may be your first visit to Forest – all are welcome to attend. The morning will include short talks from the Warden and members of the Leadership Team covering Pastoral Care, Academic, Co-Curricular and a talk from the Head of Lower School. You will also have an opportunity to ask our Y7 pupil panel questions.

Please join us early at 8.30am as there will be the opportunity to chat to some of our Senior pupils over a cup of coffee and a croissant, so you can experience first-hand the Forest “end product”!

We will also be offering an opportunity for your child to take part in a collaborative task on the Information Morning, therefore we strongly encourage all parents to bring their Year 6 child along. Please arrive by 8.50am at the very latest to allow your child to participate.

Please note that talks will start promptly at 9.00am in the Sports Hall and we anticipate finishing by 11.00am.

Unlike Open Day, the School grounds will mostly be without pupils, so the School will be much quieter than normal, there will be Saturday morning sports fixtures running. We will therefore, not be running tours on this morning but these can be booked on a school day via admissions@forest.org.uk.

Please do get in touch if you wish to book a tour during the School day.

As always, the Admissions Team will be on hand to answer any queries you may have.

If you are unable to attend the Information morning on Saturday 9 November, we do have a repeat of this event on Saturday 12 October. Please click here to book your place.

How to get here:
Forest School is situated in a beautiful location on the edge of Epping Forest. We are close to London and local amenities but quite secluded by the ancient trees that surround us. Our location has excellent public transport links but, being so green, has extremely limited parking. The area around the School is zoned for resident parking only and therefore we strongly encourage visitors to use public transport to reach us: Here is guidance from our website on how to get to us via public transport.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you all to Forest from 8.30am onwards.
