Sixth Form Open Evening

Forest School  is delighted to invite Parents and pupils to our Sixth Form Open Evening, which will take place on Monday 27 September 2021, 5.00pm – 8.00pm. Topics will include an overview of life in Forest School Sixth Form, an introduction to the Forest Diploma, guidance on admission to the Sixth Form and will cover the entrance and scholarship processes.

Forest is truly a London school and our pupils come from all over the city and beyond. We are proud of the fact that pupils join Forest at 16 every year, and that our pupil and parent body reflect the diversity of the city.

The transition into Sixth Form is a hugely important one for all Year 11 students and we invite you to come and visit Forest’s Sixth Form to find out about our outstanding provision. At the end of Year 13, Forest Sixth Formers leave us well qualified having accumulated a vast range of skills.

They are intellectually curious, have a strong sense of who they are and know where their strengths and interests lie.

Forest Sixth Formers are resilient, thoughtful, creative and full of energy.

Sixth Form Open Evening Programme

We must reiterate, there is no additional parking available as we do not have use of the large field in front of School this year. If you park illegally, you have a very high chance of your vehicle being towed away by Waltham Forest. Please be respectful of our neighbours and consider public transport or alternative arrangements. Here is guidance from our website on how to get to us via public transport.

In line with our current School policy, we strongly advise all visitors to wear a mask when inside School buildings and maintain distance from our staff and pupils. We further request that all adults and Year 11 pupils take a lateral flow test before attending. As with all School events, if anyone is displaying COVID symptoms, awaiting a PCR result or are in receipt of a positive LFD result, please do not attend. There are many hand-sanitising stations around the School which we would encourage everyone to use.
