Representing England!

Rebecca (Y10) has been selected to represent England in the next international junior meet in Glasgow. This is the third international track and field representative we have had at Forest in recent years.

Rebecca competed at English Schools Combined Events over the weekend, achieving a top 4 place, and has been to asked to represent England.  She now has her England vest and will compete for England in the Home Countries internationals in Glasgow on the weekend of  the 25th November! This is such an achievement given Rebecca recently damaged her hamstring which meant she could not train or compete for several weeks.

She has had an amazing summer having achieved a silver medal in shot put at the U15 Nationals on the August bank holiday weekend, and taking silver for hurdles representing Essex at the inter-counties competition on the 10th September. Go Rebecca!
