Forest School Junior Science Competition
Forest School’s Junior Science Competition will take place on Wednesday, 8th February 2023, 1.30pm – 4.30pm.
We are delighted to announce that we will be running our popular Junior Science Competition on Wednesday, 8th February 2023, from 1.30-4.30pm.
Pupils will be invited to complete a set of three, exciting experiments, each of which will require various conclusions to be made and several specific questions to be answered. Forest pupils and staff will be there to help and guide.
As well as the competitive nature of the afternoon, it is a wonderful opportunity to inspire your most talented young scientists in a fun and invigorating way.
Each team’s work will be judged by Forest School staff who will decide the first, second and third placed teams. An exciting array of prizes will be on offer and all schools and individual team members will receive a certificate of participation.
The competition will begin at 2.00pm (registration 1.30-1.45pm) and will end around 4.30pm, and refreshments will be available for all visitors at the end of the competition.
The competition is aimed at Year 6 pupils and each school wishing to take part must enter a team of four Year 6 pupils to be accompanied by one teacher.
If you would like your school to take part, please complete this booking form. We look forward to seeing you!
