Congratulations! OF Tony Martin CBE
OF Tony Martin was presented with a CBE by His Majesty King Charles III last week.
Tony was awarded the CBE last June in the Queen’s Jubilee Birthday Honours List for his services to charity. As you may already know, Tony has been a great friend to Forest over the years, funding the building of the Martin Centre for Innovation, and also, planning permitting, a new pavilion in the Park. However, it was for his services to animal welfare across the globe, that Tony has received this much deserved recognition.
Recent achievements of the Anthony V Martin Charitable Foundation include contributing to the end of the consumption of cats and dogs, lobbying to end the practice of bear bile farming, and fighting to end trophy hunting. In the UK, the foundation supports many animal charities – both independently run and national operations. To find out more about the Anthony V Martin Charitable Foundation, please click here
