Big Band perform at Chelmsford Cathedral

Forest’s Big Band performed at Chelmsford Cathedral on Friday 18 November.

Following the Lord Mayor’s Show, the popular ensemble performed at the cathedral as part of their lunchtime concert series.

The 20-piece band, which has been part of the School’s community for over 25 years, showcased their talent to a huge crowd of over 400 at the Essex cathedral.

Playing a mixture of classic and contemporary music, the band entertained the crowd with numbers by Neal Hefti, Glen Miler and Astor Piazzolla.

In recent years the Big Band have become a regular fixture for the cathedral in November, with many guests saying how they look forward to watching the Forest ensemble.
